Talk about the senior’s accomplishments when they were younger
1. A senior has had a full life and have done many things in their lives, they may not think these were significant or worthy of talking about or they may be very proud of them, either way seniors like to talk about what they did when younger. 2. Ask what they worked as, what were some of their greatest challenges at work, their greatest accomplishments when working. 3. Outside of work ask about some of their experiences, what did they do or were doing during significant world events such as 9-11, the wars, assassination attempts, the fall of the Berlin wall, the restructuring of Russia etc. You can also ask what they thought of these events. 4. Ask if they played sports, what sport, what position, what was their best memory from this activity. Note if they did not play sports then you can ask the same question with regards to a hobby or other activity.
