1. Many seniors are not hard of hearing, 25% of people 60-75 years of age are hard of hearing, 55% of those over 75 are hard of hearing. 2. Most people who are hard of hearing have hearing aids and thus most seniors that you talk to do not need you to speak louder than normal. 3. If you speak louder than normal some seniors may get offended.
