Follow up on the advice they provide

Follow up on the advice they provide

1. A senior will feel validated when they give you advice and you apply the advice that they gave you and then you tell them this. 2. Even if you modify their advice the senior will feel as if they are contributing if even part of the advice they gave has been applied. 3. If you know that a senior has certain strengths, ask them for advice in these areas. 4. If the advice is not what you can use then thank them for the advice and tell them that you will take it under advisement.
